Yael Stone is an Australian actor most well-known for her characters including Lorna Morello on Orange Is the New Black Peretta Jones in Childhood's End and Dora Lumley in Picnic at Hanging Rock. Her other appearances are Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding. Her work is also renowned for being a vocal supporter of women's issues, and her support for the rights of women to abortion and protections for climate. Balmain Public school was where she received her schooling. In Australia, she graduated from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art.
