Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer who was born in NYC, the city of New York, on November 22nd in 1984. Her performances have earned her acclaim across a wide range of genres including the genres of period dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson, the daughter of a renowned architect, as well as a producer, was raised as a child in New York City. Hunter was the twin of their younger sisters. When she was just seven an old, the actress began auditioning for television commercials. Following a short period beginning her study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Later on, the Professional Children's School was opened in Manhattan. In the Off Broadway play Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then made her first film appearance in North (1994), directed by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson starred next on screen in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut with Manny & Lo - a tale about two sisters who are orphans who escape. She next earned praise for her performance as a teenage girl who suffered a disfiguring accident in The Horse Whisperer (1998) as well as further recognition in the role of a sarcastic teen who is a solitary Rebecca In Ghost World (2001). Renee Felice Smith entered the realm of entertainment at a very early age. She was drawn to acting as a young child. Smith's parents aided her in getting her first role in the acting world at age six. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Like other young actors, she started her professional career in the theatre. Additionally, she was involved in various projects throughout the USA as well, and Wildflower was her first onstage production. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
