She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on November 26, 1986. She is the child of her father Vincenzo and her mom Valerie Barba. She was just six when she left her family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey. She completed her education at Red Bank Catholic High School, New Jersey. The schooling continued at Catholic University where she earned an undergraduate degree in architecture. In addition, she was a player on the violin from the age of 4, and was also known for her role as Violin Lady. Her name was often used to refer to her nickname due to her performances. Also, she was an instructor of violin for youngsters in the area. At the age of 19 she was a contestant on the 6th season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free.
