Molly, who was raised in Pennsylvania and began her professional career in Philadelphia at the Prince Music Theater at 13 years old. Her first performance was The Snow Queen. As part of the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods, she won a Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. Molly reprised the role in the production when she performed her Broadway debut in Into the Woods at Broadway, in 2002. The show won her an award from the Drama League Award for this performance. Molly also appeared in Broadway in the stage revival of Fiddler on the Roof. She attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club member and graduated with a B.A. in Religious Studies. At this time, Wendy Greenhut made her Disney College Road Trip debut. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway productions including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. Additionally, she participated in TV shows such as Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a part of numerous regional plays, among them The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee performed by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 and North Shore Music Theatre's 2010 The Diary of Anne Frank at the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly was Anne. Molly has starred in several regional productions, including The Diary of Anne-Frank at Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production. The play in which she played the teenager daughter Ali.
